This is where we'll publicize the adventures at Stonerock Inc. We will also share with you our history, keep you in-the-know with current events, and tease you with future releases. In 1995 Stonerock Incorporated was born. With the philosophy that "music should be enjoyable, emotional, and memorable", we began songwriting and producing, putting our heart and soul into every performance and song. Our main focus is on r&b, funk, rap, gospel, house, and jingles for commercial radio and television. Though our music catalogs are elite and diverse, the house and club music catalog was in need of a growth spurt. We went on a mission to learn more about this genre and it's increasing popularity.

During our research we learned that house, techno, club, electronica, and other up-tempo hybrids were dominating the aerobics scene. At the drawing board, we focused hard on giving the music a global sound, creating a resilience between the instruments and the arrangements. We began writing melodies using various instruments instead of vocals. This instrumental approach gives the music space and freedom. We then demonstrated several tracks to aerobics instructors and other associates, receiving high marks and rewarding feedback. (Rewarding since no one walked away gagging or throwing tomatoes at us!!)

Be unique and stand out from the crowd. It has always been our belief that being different is a good thing. Stonerock's music is mainstream yet unparalleled by all others. This quality can be traced back to our extraordinary roots; favoring music that is hip, as well as music that is off the beaten path. In our music you will certainly hear elements of the norm. Yet you will also hear our songs daring to be different, always reaching beyond predictability.

The talented production team at the nucleus of Stonerock Inc. consists of drummer/songwriter/producer Stevan "Rock" Smith, and the effervescent and prolific spinmaster /producer DjDNA.

Our quest to continuously create great music is in progress. Stonerock is proud to present a powerful musical productions for the everyday listener, the dance floor fanatic, and the fitness enthusiast.
